Shiva Shakti

Shiva and Shakti have been recurring themes in my work, both writing and visual art over the years. This is a collection of digital works that I created to explore different energy states of Shiva, the masculine principle and Shakti, the feminine principle.

Shiva and Shakti are states of consciousness. Their individual forces, their interactions, the dance that interweaves them together, the potential and the dynamic, the paradox of their changing moods and rhythms... each aspect inspires me, and taunts me to play with them.

And even as I worked with form, I sought to explore Shiva and Shakti as free, fundamental yet subtle realities of consciousness within ourselves, unconnected to religion.
