Wandering Together- Spaces of exchange and learning

To me, education has always been akin to breathing—the teacher and the student, teaching and learning, like the parallel rhythms of in-breath and out-breath. These exchanges have been spaces of profound connection, where I have journeyed with people of all ages, discovering resonant conversations and the rich, shared vistas of human experience.
Nature has always been my innermost guide and teacher. Trees, seas, and skies have mentored me in ways that words often cannot. Reflecting on the larger systems of nature has deeply shaped the way I think and understand the world. From this grounding, I approach education not simply as a profession but as a living philosophy—one rooted in ecological compassion, aesthetic understanding, and consciousness-based learning.
With over 25 years of experience, Srivi's work has spanned curriculum design, program development, and educational innovation across early childhood, K-12, and higher education. Her contributions extend from crafting programs for young learners to designing and leading advanced doctoral programs, focusing on:
  • Art, Design and Ecological Consciousness
  • Arts in Education
  • Information Arts and Information Design Practices
  • Earth Education and Communication
  • Reimagining Transitions
Srivi’s deep and diverse expertise bridges the complexities of early learning to higher education, giving her a unique perspective on teaching, learning, and the interconnectedness of educational systems. Her work spans policy planning, program execution, teacher training and educational leadership, fostering transformative learning experiences that emphasize creativity, ecological consciousness,  inter and transdisciplinary inquiry. Working closely with doctoral students, Srivi explores new intersections of creative practice and society, ecology, and consciousness, mentoring emerging scholars to push the boundaries of research and creative inquiry. Her work is pioneering new frontiers in education, shaping frameworks that inspire transformative scholarship and practice for the future.
