Writing & Storytelling
As a poet and writer my works traverse the intricate landscapes of the human spirit interwoven with all life, blending the personal with the universal in a deeply evocative style. My writing—spanning poetry, prose, short stories, and children’s picture books—explores the paradoxes of existence, weaving gentle narratives that connect emotional, spiritual, and natural worlds.
Rooted in the mystical and aesthetic traditions of the Indian subcontinent, my works are marked by their interplay of earthiness and ethereality, reflection and playfulness. I approach writing as a way to uncover truth—naked, unmasked, and subtle—while celebrating the transformative power of language as a bridge between inner reflection and outward exchange. For me, words hold both masks and revelations, bondage and freedom, and through writing, I seek to unshackle myself from preconceived ideas to rediscover the core of human experience.
My poetry rises from profound moments of connection, inviting readers to linger in its slow rhythms and savor its subtle depth. In my prose and stories, I craft expansive, intimate worlds where imagination and reality coexist, and enjoy creating a landscape for readers to delve into the paradoxes that makes us human, beast, and a zillion particles of dust. Whether reflecting on language as a tool of truth or exploring the intricate shades of metaphor and meaning, in my work i enjoy illuminating the infinite interplay of life, stories, and self-discovery.
